On behalf of the CSBA Board of Directors, we hope that everyone continues to stay healthy and safe as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of this past Friday May 15th, Phase 1 of the re-opening process was approved by our state and local officials.
The NYS reopening plan currently has recreational sports in Phase 4, tentatively slated for June 26th. Based on the timing and current restrictions, we feel our Spring season would be impossible to complete.
Therefore CSBA will be canceling our SPRING season ONLY (for all levels scheduled to end June 19th). We will be providing full refunds via check to all those that have registered for the SPRING season. Checks should arrive over the next two weeks via mail.
On an additional note, we have CREATED a new SUMMER season ending no later than August 9th pending approval by local and state officials. The following divisions ONLY will be offered and will begin once we get approval:
- Baseball – 50/70 (ages 11-12) Kid Pitch
- Baseball – 46/60 (ages 10-11) Kid Pitch
- Baseball – 46/60 (ages 8-9) Kid Pitch
- Softball – 16U (ages 13-16)
-Baseball Age as of April 30th, 2020
-Softball Age as of December 31st, 2019
REGISTRATION for these Summer programs will be available in the next few weeks and will be communicated online.
Tee-ball and Coach Pitch Baseball/Softball programs will not be offered at this time.
As in past years, CSBA intends to have a FALL BALL program for ALL age levels.
